Donella Burridge from Sydney Emeralds Synchro Club in NSW became the first Australian to become a World Champion in Synchronised Swimming! Donella won the Gold medal in the Solo event in the 50-59 years age category at the FINA World Masters Championships in Perth! The Solo event combined the scores of both Technical and Free Routines. The Championships were held at Challenge Stadium in Perth from the 15th April to the 25th April 2008. Well Done Donella!
